Meet the Captain and Mates:

 

Captain Jason Anderson:

Jason has been fishing the ‘Bay’ (Chesapeake Bay) since early childhood.  Jason’s father Bud and close friend Capt. Woody Robertson carried Jason fishing as soon as he was old enough to go along.  Back in those days they fished at night for big grey trout and during the day for big bluefish.  Their passion for fishing was passed along to Jason who has done the same for his two sons.  Although the fish we target may have changed over the years, the love of fishing and seeing the joy of others have not.

 

Capt. Jason is a US Coast Guard licensed captain for six pack operations.  This simply means that we are capable of carrying six paying passengers on each fishing trip.

First Mate Caleb Anderson:

​

Caleb shares his family’s love of fishing on the bay and has become very proficient in understanding how ‘to work’ the back of the boat on a charter. He has caught many prize fish over the years and has a wall full of citations.  He attended Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN and now lives in Louisa working as a diesel mechanic.

First Mate Chase Anderson:

​

Chase has followed in his brother’s footsteps to become a great mate on the Anna C.  He, too, understands the various types of fishing we do and is very proficient.  Chase is a lot of fun and really enjoys talking with our clients.  Chase is currently attended Va Tech in their Agricultural Technology program and now works as an arborist with a local tree care firm and eventually plans to take over Waters Edge.
